BRC was recently asked to identify the top five pest management issues found during their food plant audits. The most common and/or most concerning issues were:
License not current or expired.
No approved materials list.
No quarterly pest trending.
No corrective actions recorded for pest issues.
No Lot No.s recorded for pesticides applied.
If you have a client location expecting a BRC audit soon, make sure that the logbook has been updated for 2013 and check to see if any of these issues are a problem for you.
