If you find yourself being pestered by flies in your hospitality business, pause and take a good look at the fly before taking action. Identifying the size of a fly is the best way of treating a fly problem in your restaurant or business.

Small flies – for example, fruit flies and gnats – generally breed indoors. This usually means that fly problems can be addressed by identifying and correcting any sanitation issues nearby.

Large flies like house flies and bottle flies typically breed outside. Turn to exclusion methods, such as repairing screens and keeping doors shut, to eradicate the problem.

Remember, you won’t fix your fly problem unless you eliminate the breeding source.

If you continue to have fly problems at your Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle or Denver establishment (or anywhere in our service area, for that matter), call in the Sprague Pest Experts for a permanent solution.
