As part of its 100th year celebration, Sprague Pest Solutions introduced a new and historic honor at its 2026 Super Meeting and 11thAnnual Awards Gala: the Lifetime Achievement Award. The inaugural award was presented to Lawrence “Larry” Treleven in recognition of his more than 50 years of service and extraordinary impact on the company’s growth, leadership, and culture.
The creation of the Lifetime Achievement Award marks a significant milestone in Sprague’s centennial year. For over a decade, the company’s Salesperson of the Year award has carried Treleven’s name, honoring his legacy and impact on the sales team. Now, as Sprague celebrates 100 years in business, the company has further recognized Treleven’s enduring contributions be naming him as the very first recipient of its highest honor.
Treleven joined Sprague as employee number three, working alongside his father Alfred H. “Bob” Treleven Jr. and his brother Alfred “Alfie” H. Treleven III. Together, they helped transform a small family operation into a leading multi-state commercial pest management provider.
The award was presented by Larry’s son, Ross Treleven, a member of the fourth-generation and Sprague’s current President and CEO.
“Larry has poured his heart and soul into Sprague for over 5 decades,” said Ross Treleven. “Every chapter of our history has been shaped by his leadership and commitment to doing right by people. There is no one whose impact on this organization runs deeper.”
Throughout his career, Larry played a pivotal role in expanding Sprague’s footprint, developing its first quality assurance team, and building a reputation rooted in integrity and service excellence. His influence expanded for beyond growth metrics. He has helped define the company’s culture by consistently modeling humility, accountability, and a care for others.
