Jeremy Hundley Earns B.C.E. Designation

Hundley Joins A Growing Number of Sprague Team Members With the B.C.E. and A.C.E. Designations

Supporting lifelong learning and continuing education has been a core pillar of Sprague Pest Solutions since the company was founded in 1926. From in-house training programs to national accreditation programs, Sprague has supported its team members in their pursuits to learn more and advance both their personal and professional lives.

The latest team member to achieve a milestone is Jeremy Hundley, a route manager in Sprague’s Portland service center, who has been certified as a Board Certified Entomologist (B.C.E.) by the Entomological Society of America Certification Corporation. The B.C.E. is considered the most respected professional credential in entomology.

Jeremy Hundley joins fellow Sprague team members Ashley Roden, Bobby Andrews, Dan Scott, Jerry Hatch and technical consultant Jeff Weier in earning the B.C.E. designation. Twenty-six (26) Sprague team members also hold the Associate Certified Entomologist (A.C.E.) designation.

To achieve B.C.E. status, Hundley was required to have a four-year degree in a biological subject, two years of experience in the field, a current CV, two letters of reference, the willingness to abide by the B.C.E. code of ethics and pass two exams. Hundley has been with Sprague since 2017 and has excelled at his position as route manager and trainer technician. Hundley previously earned his A.C.E. and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Portland State University.
