Pest Control Deemed An Essential Business

The governors of Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, and California have issued Stay at Home orders directing all non-essential workers to work from home as a result of COVID-19 virus pandemic.

Professional pest management services have been deemed “essential” by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the states of Washington, California, Nevada and Colorado have officially granted this designation. Oregon has chosen not to classify “essential” businesses. The Governor of Idaho’s office has clarified to the Colorado Pest Control Association that Pest Management Services are assumed to be included as an essential service under Article 11 in the Public Health Order.

This means the vital pest management and public health services provided by Sprague Pest Solutions will continue to be performed throughout its seven-state operating area. Clients can also request additional pest management services to previously scheduled services if needed.

In addition to Pest Management, Sprague offers Commercial Disinfecting Services. These services include application of virucide which is EPA registered to disinfect against human coronaviruses.

Sprague’s number one priority is the health and safety of its clients, employees and the communities it serves.
