Treleven's appointment reflects Sprague’s continued support of the work the alliance is doing and the positive results it has yielded with consumers
Ross Treleven, president of Sprague Pest Solutions, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA). He will serve a three-year term.
Treleven replaces his father, Larry Treleven, on the board. Larry Treleven was one of the founding members of PPMA.
The PPMA is an investor-driven organization that has successfully marketed the value of professional pest control services to consumers since 1997. PPMA’s efforts have resulted in positive exposure for the pest management industry and the continued growth of both the residential and commercial service markets.
“I am humbled to join my peers on the PPMA Board and lend my talents to further the alliance’s mission to raise awareness of the significant value professional pest management services provide,” said Ross Treleven. “Consumers and business owners deserve to eat safe food and live and work in healthier environments and PPMA’s efforts help share that message.”
Larry Treleven said Ross’ nomination to the PPMA board reflects Sprague’s continued support of the work the alliance is doing and the positive results it has yielded with consumers.
“Sprague has a long tradition – 96 years – of doing what’s right for clients, employees, and the communities we live and work in. Our involvement with PPMA reflects that,” said Larry Treleven. “Ross will capably take the baton for Sprague with PPMA and further the valuable work it does.”
Ross Treleven joined Sprague as a full-time technician in 2001 and following graduation transitioned to an account management position. He has managed the company’s Seattle and Denver branch offices, was next named district manager for Denver, Boise and Salt Lake City in 2012 and was promoted to General Manager in 2015. He assumed the Vice President of Operations role in 2018 and was named Executive Vice President in 2019.
Treleven earned a degree in marketing from Gonzaga University and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
