Sprague Celebrates Edna Alfaro-Inocente’s BCE Certification

TACOMA, Wash. – February 22, 2024 – Sprague Pest Solutions, a leader in commercial pest management throughout the Western United States, proudly announces that Edna Alfaro-Inocente, one of its distinguished Regional Entomologists based in Denver, CO, has achieved her Board-Certified Entomologist (BCE) certification from the Entomological Society of America. This prestigious recognition is a testament to her extensive knowledge and expertise in entomology, further strengthening Sprague’s commitment to delivering the highest quality pest management services. 

Alfaro-Inocente, originally from El Salvador and a first-generation college graduate, holds a Master of Science in Entomology from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Sciences in Food Science & Technology from Escuela Agricola Panamericana, Zamorano in Honduras. Before joining Sprague, she contributed her skills as a visiting scientific specialist at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Her research has primarily focused on mosquitoes, making significant strides in pest and pest management. In May 2023, Edna was honored with an NPMA Impact Award for Women in Pest Management, highlighting her contributions and leadership in the field.
