Sprague Celebrates 2020 Successes

Annual Awards Banquet Moves to Virtual Format

It wasn’t the usual way we celebrate our successes and recognize our outstanding team members, but the show must go on. Instead of gathering in-person the annual Sprague Pest Solutions Awards banquet went virtual this year and it didn’t miss a beat.

Ross Treleven, president of Sprague Pest Solutions, opened the event saying that while not having the event in-person was disappointing, there was still good reason to celebrate the Sprague team’s notable accomplishments in 2020.

“We get an extra boost both culturally and in our individual relationships by celebrating the wonderful achievements of our fellow team members,” said Treleven. “These are the things that bring us together and that help us develop strong bonds with our customers.”

The evening also included a special send off to retiring COO Jeff Miller who wrapped up an accomplished 40-plus year career with Sprague.

Alfie Treleven, Sprague CEO, who worked side-by-side with Miller since 1981 said he remembered the thousands of conversations they had and clients they served over the years, and how the great relationship they developed allowed the world to eat safer food and live and work in healthier environments each day.

“There is no way this journey would have been anything similar for me had you not been along for it and driven and challenged me along the way,” said Treleven.

Treleven closed the event by recognizing the extraordinary efforts the entire Sprague team to adjust to business conditions brought on by the pandemic.

“You proved you can do anything you set your mind and you inspired me do more,’ said Treleven. “Thank you.”
