Sprague Pest Solutions Announces Additions to Executive Management Team

Sprague Pest Solutions announces two promotions on its executive leadership team that will usher in the family-owned company’s fourth generation of pest management professionals.

Ross Treleven

Ross Treleven has been promoted to President, and AJ Treleven, Director of Operations for the Tacoma-based company that is celebrating its 94th year providing advanced and innovative pest management services to clients across the Western United States.

Ross joined Sprague as his first job in 1998 and took a full-time technician role in 2001 while attending college. After graduating, Ross transitioned to an account management position. Since then, Ross has managed the company’s Seattle and Denver branch offices, was next named district manager for Denver, Boise and Salt Lake City in 2012 and was promoted to General Manager in 2015. He assumed the Vice President of Operations role in 2019 and was named Executive Vice President earlier this year. Treleven earned a degree in marketing from Gonzaga University and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver.

“I am deeply flattered to have achieved this position within the company,” said Ross Treleven. “It means a great deal to me personally to be the next steward of the organization. We have a great team here at Sprague and I feel lucky to work with them every day.”

AJ Treleven - Sprague Pest Solutions

AJ Treleven

AJ Treleven most recently served as Sprague’s regional manager for the Puget Sound after leading Sprague’s Seattle and Salt Lake City branch offices. He joined the company in 2012 in a sales role, and quickly assumed increasing responsibility as he took roles in branch management, district management, and most recently as regional manager of Western Washington, Utah, and Nevada. He has a degree in operations and supply chain management from Gonzaga University and an M.B.A. from Seattle University. He also holds an Associate Certified Entomologist designation.

“I’m honored to be part of an organization that is dedicated to helping the world eat safer food and live and work in healthier environments,” said AJ Treleven. “I look forward to helping drive our innovative spirit and identifying ways to exceed client expectations.”

Sprague, the largest privately owned pest management company dedicated solely to the commercial market in the United States, specializes in preventive and remedial pest management and food safety consulting services for leading food processing, agriculture, healthcare, and hospitality and distribution facilities.

Sprague CEO Alfie Treleven said the promotions are reflective of Sprague’s commitment to developing  talent from within its ranks.

“Staying on the forward edge of innovation requires a commitment to developing and putting talent in the right positions to succeed,” said Alfie Treleven. “The additions of Ross and AJ to our management teams aligns with our mission to always deliver exceptional client-driven pest management solutions and grow our footprint in the future.”

Jeff Miller, Sprague’s COO, has mentored both Ross and AJ as they learned the business from the ground up. He said the pairs’ energy, knowledge and forward-looking vision will carry Sprague and advance the company’s service offerings in the years ahead.

“The pest management industry continues to become more dynamic, and Ross and AJ’s proven ability to adapt to the changing forces of technology and client demands puts Sprague in very good hands,” added Miller.
