California Dreamin’ – Sprague Pest Solutions Acquires A Pair of California Companies

Sprague's Western U.S. Expansion Continues - Company Now Services 10 States

Sprague Pest Solutions has acquired Blue Heron IPM Pest Control of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Delete Pest Elimination of Los Angeles further expanding the company’s service footprint in California.

The acquisitions provide Sprague with increased capacity to service agriculture, food, distribution and service clients in both Northern and Southern California and protect their operations from threats posed by disease transmitting pests.

Founded by Tim and Jeanette Youngerman, Blue Heron has developed novel pest management programs for Sacramento’s numerous organic and non-organic food processing plants, restaurants, wineries, hotels, and resorts. Delete, founded by Felipe Salmeron, services a diverse commercial-focused client base from food processing to restaurants to other commercial properties across Los Angeles County.

“We have long had a goal to serve the entire west coast. Blue Heron and Delete help us expand our geographic footprint and share a similar dedication to customer service, a forward-thinking approach to pest management, and, most importantly, an unsurpassed commitment to quality,” said Ross Treleven, president of Sprague Pest Solutions. “The world deserves to eat safer food and live and work in healthier environments each day and we look forward to doing that for clients across all of California.”

These acquisitions are the third and fourth in California for Tacoma, Wash.-based Sprague since 2016. In 2016, the company acquired TMC Pest Management of Bakersfield and in 2019 it acquired Revolution Pest Solutions in Carson.

In business for more than 95 years, Sprague, provides innovative pest management services to a diverse base of commercial clients across 10 western U.S. states from nearly 20 service centers.
